MISSING CAT
This is my cat Morris. He was last seen on the 15th of November in the Fredericksburg, VA area. He usually comes home every night but sometimes, in unusual cases, would be away for up to three nights.
Morris is about three years old, has medium length, light yellow and white fluffy hair, and still has claws. He is very friendly doesn’t mind he held. The top picture is him with his longer winter hair. His shorter, more summery hair looks like this:
He’s not a huge cat, but he’s large and athletic. He is neutered. He comes running when dry food is shaken.

straightouttastafford:

Over the weekend, I was shooting this video, and ended up in downtown Fredericksburg.

While walking around, I noticed some anti-Sherlock/pro-Richard Brook propaganda posters. As I headed back to my car, I noticed more flyers and started geeking out a bit (I’m an avid fan of the series, myself). Then, I ran into three girls responsible for posting some of the fliers.

We chatted for a moment, as I was in a rush, and she explained that I had actually stumbled upon the first meet-up of a group of fans of the BBC Sherlock series. They were covering the area in flyers and posters in support of Sherlock and Richard Brook(aka Jim Moriarty, depending on what side you align with — just watch the show, alright?).

This group of young people had found eachother through Tumblr and organized a meetup using Tumblr and Facebook.

I though it was awesome that a group of strangers were able to come together over a common interest and generate a real-world, offline connection. I’ve kept up with the group through their Fredlock tag and it looks like they plan to continue to meet up, away from computers, and find more things to enjoy together.

I love that these kids found each other through Tumblr and got together to become friends, away from their computers.

If you’re into Sherlock and live in the Fredericksburg area, you should Follow their blog(s):

Yaaay, this is so cool :)

I’m so excited about our Fredlock group.
